Jennifer Baldvins had lived in the United States (Colorado and Massachusetts), Canada and Taiwan. She has worked as an educator in the arts and ESL since 2005. She has a BFA in studio arts from Concordia University in Montreal and a MFA in art education from Tufts University and the School of the Museum of Fine Arts in Boston.

Baldvins' work is deeply reflective of the sea and forest.  The rhythms, textures, and details in these spaces have profoundly influenced her ideas and creative process. She aims to use materials drawn from the earth combined with craft-making traditions that are passed down from artists throughout generations. In her pottery, fiber art, and foraged mixed media there search for hidden details in nature and to encapsulate them in a new visual, conceptual, and practical way.
